Another Damn Ragabash...... - March 24th

He looks aroudn taking in all the activity, "No I haven't yet."

Then to Bete, "It's ok, don't worry about it."

"I think I saw him sleeping near the heart." Rhia pipes up. "He's suchy a sleepy bear."

Alexander seeing the group that has gathered walks up to the fire looks at the new-comer and with a slight growl in his voice "who are you? I am Alexander Scott, rited "thrashes the wyrm" Ahroun Fostern of the Silver Fangs and Beta of the Fenris Pack."

Edith walks over to Darien, still suspicious of the newcomer. "Don't you think we have enough people...honestly I think our caern will be well protected now," she wispers to the Get.

"We could never have enough soldiers in service to Gaia." Speaking over the crowd, he says, "I suggest you introduce yourself to Speaks of Mist or myself instead of just standing there. I am Darien Gray, He-who-fights-like-a-homid, Get of Fenris, Ahroun, Homid, Adren, Beta of the sept, Elder Ahroun and Elder Get of Fenris, and this is Fortune's Landing."

Alex looks over at edith and growls a little, "Also, Edith we are defending two Caerns we can always use more soldiers for Gaia!"

Edith looks down and mumbles. "sorry."

"My name is Elliot McAdams, Cliath Ragabash of the Glasswalkers."

He nods his head submissively to Darien.

"Well, I guess that counts for something." Darien grumbles. "Introduce yourself to Speaks when you see him, until then, get to know your new septmates. One more thing, is the Gaiahertz caern having a surplus of claiths or something? I keep seeing you guys pop up."

He shrugs, "It seems like everyone is having a lot of us pop up. A good day for us, I guess."

"Good day for you, eh?" Ray closes the laptop and begins to pack things into the case, putting his papers in a file for protection. "If everyone from here just started showing up randomly at other septs looking to join, I wouldn't think good things were happening here. But then that would just be my hunch."

Carry looks to Ray and grins. "I agree. It goes to show the integrity of a sept, how many of its members leave to join other septs."

"Well, what I meant to say. er... Mean was that there are an abundance of Cliath's, period. Not that sept's are losing them."

"Well then, I know we're awesome and everything, but why us in particular?" He directs toward the ragabash.

Bete looks from one sept member to the next as they question Elliot. "Now I understand why Darien is questioning Elliot but why must everyone else? Isn't it the job of the Beta and the Alpha of this sept to make the decisions of who can be here and who cannot," she asks outloud to anyone who is willing to listen.

looking at Bete "Oh we are not saying he can or can't we are simply being curious of his reasons. Think of it as a prescreeaning. We just want to get to know him."

"Ehhhh, It's my nature to ask these sorts of things. I guess an invitational did go out, but that was quite some time ago. You're right though, I guess if there's trouble to be had, there's bigger names than mine on the list."

Bete sighs and mumbles, "Seems more like everyone except Darien is interrogating Elliot." She shifts to her Sokto (Glabro) form and paces around the campfire.

Darien growls impatiently, "It's not your place to question the methods of your elders, little kitten. Elliot is not a threat and is not to be treated as such. They're just getting to know the new face."

Elliot looks back and forth between Bete and Darien.

Bete lowers her head. "Sorry Darien. I didn't mean to speak out of line."

Rhia bounces over and rests a comforting hand on Bete's arm. Then, she looks back over to Elliot. "Well, welcome to the sept then."

Bete looks over at Rhia and smiles. "Thanks," she whispers before walking over to a more comfy spot beside the campfire.

"Thank you," He nods at Rhia and Bete smiling.

Rhia nods, tilting her head for a moment to look at Elliot. Then, she goes and sits by the fire, talking to the spirit quietly.
