Needing a Charge - March 22nd

Micheal Douglas - Mage


Micheal shuts his car door and walks towards the park. The wide open, clear and spacious look of Iroquois park strongly clashed with the appearance of the other Caern. And yet this one was just as powerful.

Being cautious and looking around, he walks a bit further into the park until he could clearly feel the energy of the Caern pulsing at him. Resisting the desire to pull Quint from the Caern he sits down on a bench and closes his eyes.

Beginning his meditation, he reaches out and accepts gnosis into his body.

Carry watches the man from a nearby clump of trees, her eyes narrowed slightly.

Rico having to just happened to be in the tree above her. At a slight whisper "Hey saw you up in here. What ya lookin at?"

Carry twitches slightly, the movement sending a shiver through her entire body. She takes a deep breath, and looks up into the trees, grumbling slightly.

"Im watching that guy over there." she says softly, pointing towards the meditating man she had been watching. "He's a mage. A Namebreaker. I'm making sure he doesn't try and do anything to the caern..."

Readjusting himself so he is now less noticeable, but so he can now see both Carry and the Mage, "If he's a namebreaker what is he even doing here?"

"Supposedly he's also a kinfolk. Uktena specifically." Carry explains, reaching up and grabbing a low branch, quietly pulling herself up into the tree at all, making sure to stay hidden as she climbed.

A few hours pass of Micheal sitting motionless before he stands and strecthes.

"That takes to long," he mutters.

Carry watches silently from the tree as he stands, peering through the new buds on the trees. She shifts slightly, moving her sore muscles as quietly as she could.

Still not tired, looking at carry kinda confused "what takes too long?"

"I'm not sure...it doesn't look like he was draining the caern..." Carry says, grabbing a branch and lowering herself to the ground. "I'm gonna go check it out..."

Micheal looks at Carry walking at him. He raises a packet up and presses it to his chest. Then he looks up at the tree where Rico is hiding.

He stands and waits.

Rico drops down gracefully, and stays close behind Carry. keeping a good eye on this "mage". He put his hand on Carry's shoulder to ease her sore muscles(mothers touch).

Micheal raises an eyebrow at the spandex clad man.

"Another new guy?"

In a almost humorous tone purposely trying not to offend him "I guess you could call me new, but might i ask what you where doing here?"

"Just meditating I promise, no high rituals to drain the Caern. I don't even possess the ability to do that. I made sure to come during the day as to not frighten anyone."

Not looking suspicious at all "I am glad to hear that, so whats your name sir?"

"Micheal Douglas. Kinfolk of the Uktena. And you?"

"Rico Banderas of the Get of Fenris." Holds out his hand to shake Mikes hand. "nice to meet you."

Micheal takes his hand.

"And you."

"Well now that we have our acquaintances, dose the alpha know what you are doing here?"

Carry listens quietly to the two talk, her body at ease, but her sense sharp.
